I want to alert you to the progress on the baby bottle campaign. Yesterday, July 20, I left 211 pounds of change with the good folks at First Northern Bank & Trust located in Wind Gap. Over the course of the coming week, we will likely have a check for the coins. Currently, the amount in bills and checks we have already counted is $4,261. Supreme will add another $400 to that as part of the ASAP program (Aid and Support After Pregnancy). With fingers cautiously crossed, I hope we will have another $7k donation; we'll know shortly.

Traditionally, Summer is the slow season for our council's official activities. There are no Home Association meetings or Council social meetings in July and August. If you are an officer, you are obligated to be installed on Tuesday, August 27 at 7:30 pm.

There is the Procession in honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at the close of Big Time in Roseto on Sunday, July 28 at 1:45. See the calendar for details.

This, of course, does not mean there is nothing to do during the Summer months! Please patronize our area churches by attending their festivals and exchanging a little money for fun and good food. This is by no means an exhaustive list but here are some ideas:
